What is the Gokada Hub?

Gokada Hub is an authorized physical centre where you can drop your parcels to be delivered by our pilots anywhere in Lagos at a flat fee of ₦1000. We accept parcels not weighing more than 20kg. As long as our bag can contain your parcel and not more than 20kg, your parcels will be accepted and delivered.We also offer pickup service within a distance of 500kms around the hub.

How is the Gokada Hub service different from the Gokada app delivery service?

Gokada app delivery is an express delivery and the price is based on distance and time (traffic congestion). While the Gokada Hub delivers parcels on a same day delivery and at a flat fee of ₦1000. The orders dropped are clubbed and delivered on the same day not on an immediate delivery basis.

What if I want to pay in cash, but the pilot does not have change?

We always advise our pilots to carry change. If the pilot does not have change, we encourage you to use the digital payment on the app or transfer the amount to the pilot. In case it is not possible, please contact our support team.

What is the maximum weight / size of the parcel that can be carried by the hub?

 We allow for any non perishable items that can fit the Gokada bag (maximum size: 18 inches X 18 inches X 18 inches) and are under 10kgs.

Can I request pickup of packages from my location?

Yes, you can request for pickup but this attracts extra charges of ₦500 as the pickup fee (pickups will be arranged within a distance of 5 kms only).

What if I am located at a distance of more than 5 kms away from the hub?

Either drop-off to the nearest hub or use gokada order form to request a pilot for express delivery (higher than ₦500 pickup cost applicable to pickups within 5kms from the hub) to the nearest hub - use order.gokada.ng in that case.

When can I bring in my parcels?

The Gokada Hub is available only on weekdays (Monday to Friday) from 9:00am to 5:00pm.

Drop off from 9:00am - 2:00pm for Same-Day Delivery.
Drop off from 2:01pm - 5:00pm for Next-Day Delivery.

Do I have to pay more than one pickup fee if I have more than one package to be delivered to different locations?

The customer is supposed to pay ₦300 as pickup fee for each package collected that is needed to be delivered to a different destination.

Is the customer responsible for packaging of parcels?

Yes, the customer is responsible for proper packaging of products. The Gokada Hub Executive will only ascertain that the goods are properly packed by the customer and fit for transit.

Do you offer a Cash on Delivery (COD) option for customers that need to see their items before payment?

This depends on the delivery location but be rest assured your parcel will be delivered the same day if the parcel is brought in before 2:00pm and will be delivered the next day if the parcel comes in between 2:01pm and 5:00pm.

Do you accept perishable goods at the hub?

We don’t accept perishable goods such as food packages, etc. at the hub. We encourage you to use the Gokada app for such orders.

What happens if the rider is unable to contact the person at the delivery point?

We assure you sufficient attempts would be made to reach the recipient -if for any reason the rider is unable to deliver to the receiver at the point of delivery, the package will be returned to the hub.

I am a merchant and want to use Gokada Hub services - whom can I contact for bulk orders / frequent orders?

How do I make payment for orders dropped at the Hub?

You can make payment by cash or card. If opting for card payment, click on the link to process your payment ou will get an email alert once you have made the payment.
